Passport:

 

Original passport that is valid for 6 months after the scheduled return. In case the applicant has travelled to China earlier, copies of old China Visa and passport data pages will be needed.

 

Photograph:

 

1 matt-finished photograph with white background. It should have 80% face view and should be 35mm x 45mm in size.

 

Covering Letter:

 

A covering letter from the applicant mentioning their name, designation, passport no., purpose and duration of the visit. For self-employed/businessmen, the letter should be on business letterhead and for employed individuals it should be on company’s letterhead. The letter should be addressed to ‘The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai’.

Hotel confirmation (travel dates for flights & hotel reservations should match with each other)

 

Financial Documents:

 

Personal original salary slips & bank statements for the last 3 months. The statements should be updated with stamp and signature by a bank authority on each page. It should maintain balance of INR 1,60,000.
